<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely predict the number of sales of a target model when a plurality of models exist and respective consumers frequently select and purchase the model in accordance with his/her own preference. <P>SOLUTION: Characteristics of all consumers are set (S11), one person among the consumers whose characteristics are set is extracted (S12), and the preference of the consumer is determined (S13). When the consumer's preference places a significance on a price, a model with a significance placed on a price is executed (S14), when the consumer's preference places a significance on a model, a model with a significance placed on a model is executed (S16), and when the consumer's preference places a significance on specification, a model with a significance placed on specification is executed (S17).
