The present invention refers to a device for directly dispensing water to the root (3) of a tree located within a planting pit (1), thereby allowing water to be better used during drought. The inventive device comprises filling and venting hoses (12) which along with a funnel provide water to a container (9) and a capillary cord (11) for conducting humidity to the subsoil. Furthermore, in rainy season water is collected by a stone cylindrical-shaped filter (8) covered with a cylinder made of pellon fabric (6a) and a cover including a grid (7b) and pellon fabric located between grids (7a and 7b), the filter leading rain water to the container (9) by gravity using a hose (10a) connected to the filter and to the deposit (9), this latter element being horseshoe-shaped and allowing water to directly flow from the device to the root of the tree located in the pit by means of the capillary cord.
