A projector, and an image display and an image processor are provided to suppress the performance deterioration of the image process and to execute resolution conversion. The resolution of an input image is converted to the desired resolution less than the resolution of a fixing pixel display device so that the input image indicating inputted pixel signal be displayed by the fixing pixel display device. A first resolution conversion unit(240) converts the input pixel into the fixed resolution conversion pixel having the resolution same as the resolution of the horizontal direction of the fixed resolution. A second resolution conversion unit(250) converts the resolution pixel into the display resolution conversion pixel having desired resolution.
