The bookmark has a rectangular body (1) with reduced thickness including gaps (2a, 2b) on its sides. A flat pointer (3) slides in the gaps, and an indicator (4) is placed in a front surface (7a) and a rear surface of the pointer, where the indicator is provided in the form of line, symbol or cartoon. The gaps are suspended before ends of the body to form a demarcated area for sliding the pointer. The pointer is formed in a shape of seal ring, and surrounds the body. A less thickness space (5) occupies a central part of the body on its front surface.
