METHOD FOR SEARCHING SUPPLEMENTARY DATA RELATED TO CONTENTS DATA AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A searching method of supplementary data about contents data and an apparatus thereof are provided to receive meta data including a keyword related to contents data and use the received keyword after viewing the contents. Contents data for being reproduced are received(210). Metadata including one or more keyword related to contents data are received(215). Supplementary data about contents data are searched by using the keyword(240). The supplementary data processing unit searches requested supplementary data included in the metadata and outputs the searched result into a screen in case that the supplementary data is requested in a time applying the synchronized metadata when reproducing the contents data. A data processing unit stores the used keyword in a history file and determines priority of recommendation search word according to the use frequency of the keyword.
