MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CAGE OF THRUST ROLLER BEARING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cage of a thrust roller bearing capable of surely reducing torque and capable of being manufactured at a low cost.

SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the cage of the thrust roller bearing is the manufacturing method of the annular cage of the thrust bearing including a projecting curved surface not bent to a thickness direction wherein at least one end of a radial direction projects to a radial direction. The manufacturing method of the cage of the thrust roller bearing includes a disk shaped member forming step A for forming a disk shaped member so as to form corners between the peripheral surface and thickness direction both surfaces; and a projecting curved surface forming step C for preparing annular first and second metallic molds including a recessed arc surface, and forming the projecting curved surface on the radial end of the disk shaped member as the whole by applying coining work to the corner on the thickness direction one side by the arc surface included in the first metallic mold to make it round and applying coining work to the corner on the thickness direction the other side by the arc surface included in the second metallic mold to make it round after the disk shaped member forming step.
