PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller which is superior in convenience for making the input/output specifications flexibly changeable by the selection operation of a user. SOLUTION: This programmable controller is provided with a plurality of power source connection terminals 2; an equipment connection terminal 3; a plurality of DC output circuits 7; a plurality of DC input circuits 8; a plurality of AC output circuits 9; and a plurality of AC input circuits 10 for two or more external wiring connections. The terminals 2 and 3 can be respectively switched and connected to any of the circuits, and set in any one specification or several specifications of DC output specifications, DC input specifications, AC output specifications and AC input specifications by the selection operation of a user.
