A plasma display is provided to solve luminance step height by differentiating the voltage change time of the sustainer pulse of the sustainer pulse of the X electrode and Y electrode or the voltage change slope. In A LCD panel having plurality of datalines, gate lines and liquid crystal cells, a data driving circuit converts the polarity of data voltage in response to the polarity control signal and supplies data voltage to datalines in response to the source output enable signal. A gate driving circuit supplies the scan voltage to gate lines in response to the gate output enable signal. A controller modulates a polarity control signal to supply same polarity at every frame period for 1 line 2 frame duration and generates the gate output enable signal.
