PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for automatically connecting the divided read images of an original in a size exceeding a readable range, an image reader, an image processing program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: An image reading and forming apparatus 1 (the image reader) is provided, wherein when an original read part 20 divides and reads the original having original surface larger than the maximum scannable range in two or more times, an image data processing part 15 judges the continuity of the divided read images, and when the continuity is confirmed, the image data processing part 15 connects the divided read images in a state corresponding to the continuity. Thus, even when the large original which can not be read in one time is divided and read, the continuity of the respective divided read images is judged and they are automatically connected.
