<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device which is easily installed on a platform. <P>SOLUTION: The platform door device provided on a platform PH to form an entrance corresponding to an entrance of a railroad vehicle comprises a plurality of doors which are juxtaposed along the side edge of the platform, and opened and closed in the vertical direction on the outer side of the side edge.
