The device has a support (2) including application surfaces (3, 4) arranged against a positioning guide (13) and an object to be displayed (1) e.g. camera, respectively. The surface (3) has complementary temporary positioning and retaining units (5, 6) that position and retain temporary positioning and retaining units (15, 16) carried by the guide. The surface (4) has a wire duct (7) that serves to receive an antitheft retractor wire (23) i.e. spiral wire. The wire duct is partially hidden at a secured state of the object at the support to affect shape of a cavity opened in the surface (4).
