PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply compare and observe the condition of a change in a specimen with respect to a change in one or more parameters in a plurality of positions on the specimen. SOLUTION: A laser microscope 1 is equipped with: a laser beam source 5 which emits a laser beam; illumination optical systems 6 and 7 which irradiate a plurality of image obtaining positions on the specimen A with the laser beam emitted from the laser beam source 5; a parameter changing means 10 which changes at least one parameter of the focusing depth of the laser beam with which the specimen A is irradiated, the irradiation time or the wavelength of detection light obtained by the result of the irradiation with the laser beam; an image obtaining optical system 8 which detects the detection light returned from the plurality of image obtaining positions of the specimen A, while changing the parameter by the parameter changing means 10, to obtain image information respectively; a display means 11 which displays the image information obtained by the image obtaining optical system 8; and a control means 12 which controls the laser light source 5, the illumination optical systems 6 and 7, the parameter changing means 10, the image obtaining optical system 8, and the display means 11. The control means 12 makes the display means 11 display a plurality of pieces of image information where the parameter is changed in the plurality of image obtaining positions of the specimen A, at the same time.
