PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery element armoring material capable of improving volume energy density of a battery pack, of achieving reduction of size and weight, of securing impact resistance, and of contributing to improvement of manufacturing efficiency; a battery pack using it; and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This battery element armoring material is formed of a heat-shrinkable film 17 containing a polymer such as polyester, polyolefine, polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene. The battery element armoring material has a welding part having an outline similar to that of a battery element 10, and formed in sealing the battery element 10 in the inside. This battery pack is provided with: a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having the battery element 10 and the battery element armoring material formed of the heat-shrinkable film 17, and composed by sealing the battery element armoring material with electrode terminals 15a and 15b kept extracted to the outside; a battery armoring material containing a shape-keeping polymer and a filler, and armoring the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including the battery element armoring material; and a protective circuit board incorporated in the battery armoring material, and capable of controlling the voltage and current of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.
