<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for an inkjet printer, which has no stuck structure liable to peel off and can be manufactured easily and at low cost and moreover which can attain an excellent recording quality. <P>SOLUTION: A resin composition is prepared by compounding a foam nucleating agent of 2-10 pts.wt. in a mixture of 100 pts.wt. which is composed of an ethylene-propylene block copolymer of 20-80 wt.% containing ethylene of 5-20 wt.%, and having a melt flow rate of 0.1-10 g/10 min and a melt tension of 15-25 g at 190°C, and of an ethylene-propylene block copolymer or/and an ethylene-propylene random copolymer of 20-80 wt.% containing ethylene of 5-20 wt.% and having a melt flow rate of 5-20 g/10 min. After an inorganic gas is pressed in the resin composition, the composition is extruded from a die of an extruder to form a polypropylene foamed sheet and an ink accepting layer is coated on at least one side of the polypropylene foamed sheet. The centerline-average roughness of the surface of the polypropylene foamed sheet based on JIS B0601 is made to be 0.5-2.0 μm and the maximum height thereof based on JIS B0601 to be 5-25 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
