摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal driving device capable of improving a swing back phenomenon inexpensively even when over drive driving compensation is performed, and to provide a liquid crystal device and a driving method thereof. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal driving device for driving the liquid crystal device having a liquid crystal layer which forms a plurality of domains to operate in a vertical orientation mode includes a driving compensation part 210 which performs the driving compensation in drive to the liquid crystal layer of the liquid crystal device and a pre-driving compensation part 220 which applies prescribed pre-tilt voltage to the liquid crystal layer prior to the driving compensation to the liquid crystal layer. The pre-driving compensation part 220 applies the pre-tilt voltage to the liquid crystal layer so that liquid crystal molecules incline to predetermined inclination angles on the basis of an axis to cross one of two electrodes which hold the liquid crystal layer.
