PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the disposal of deposit of asphalt composite, etc., intruding into a screed body from a gap of a sliding surface allowing the vertical motion of a tamper edge. SOLUTION: This screed device of a road paving vehicle is equipped with a tamper 27 for tamping a road surface by making the tamper edge 32 move upward and downward. A composite retainer 24, which receives the deposit S of the asphalt composite, etc., intruding into the screed body 25 from the gap X of the sliding surface allowing the vertical motion of the tamper edge 32, is detachably provided on the outside of the screed body 25 adjacently to the tamper 27.
