<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of removing low-concentration carbon monoxide and high-concentration carbon monoxide produced in an indoor space at normal temperature, reducing a running cost and prolonging a life. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a blower 12, a content oxidation catalyst filter 16, a closure block 22, a measurement device 20 and a closure control device 24. The blower 12 transfers air. The content oxidation catalyst filter 16 removes carbon monoxide. The closure block 22 changes removal capacity of the content oxidation catalyst filter 16. The measurement device 20 measures concentration of carbon monoxide contained in air. The closure control device 24 controls the removal capacity so that the removal capacity of the content oxidation catalyst filter 16 is improved when the concentration of carbon monoxide exceeds the threshold compared with when the concentration of carbon monoxide is the threshold or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
