<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reproducing a curve which fits to a curve expressed by a recognition object, and reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A coordinate detection part 66 detects coordinates of points A, B and C included inside the curve drawn by an instruction member 4. An interpolation processing part 67 obtains coefficients a, b and c when the coordinates of the points A, B and C respectively satisfy y=ax<SP>2</SP>+bx+c. Subsequently, the interpolation processing part 67 substitutes the obtained coefficients a, b and c for an expression. The interpolation processing part 67 substitutes a value between x of the coordinates of the point B and x of the coordinates of the point C for x of the thus obtained expression, and calculates y at that time. When setting the substituted value as x, the interpolation processing part 67 obtains coordinates comprising the x and the calculated y, i.e., coordinates of a point D shown in Fig.4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
