The bus sharing unit (10) has a counter (24) e.g. radio clock, for time measurement. A volatile and/or non-volatile memory (30) is used for storing transferred data (5-7) and for automatic execution of a function in dependence of the transferred data and information of the counter. The data contains time data and function data. The counter is synchronizable by a bus-internal timer or a bus-external timer. The data is transferable over a data bus (1). An independent claim is also included for a system comprising a bus sharing unit.
