PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sequentially detect a plurality of short circuits and disconnection abnormalities of electric loads drive-controlled by opening/closing elements by a microprocessor. SOLUTION: An external power source 101, the electric loads 105a-105e and the respective opening/closing elements 130 are mutually and sequentially connected and an output terminal voltage of the opening/closing elements 130 is binarized into high and low levels by a state detection circuit 170 and input to the microprocessor 110A. The respective opening/closing elements 130 are sequentially started and sequentially stopped by the microprocessor 110A and a close abnormality and an open abnormality of the opening/closing elements 130 are sequentially judged in a start stop process. An inrush current of power source wiring is suppressed by the sequential start, rapid change of a load current is suppressed by the sequential stop and a control load of the microprocessor 110A is reduced by the sequential abnormality judgement.
