A wire/wireless communication system and a method for inter-networking calls and performing handoff are provided to perform handoff without interrupting call in case that a user is out of an internal service area during making a call in wireless network. A wireless network connection part(120) provides a wireless connection interface about public satellite or public wireless network. An information storage part(140) stores subscriber information about an internal wireless terminal. An internal wireless base station(110) provides wireless connection interface about the internal wireless terminal. A controller controls the wireless network connection part and the internal wireless base station and provides a service the same as that of the public wireless network.
