<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image processor that can obtain the moving image response curve of a display unit to be decided by taking many pictures of movements of an image projected on the screen of the display unit to be decided, and a moving image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: Photography is performed using a line camera 3 to measure respective pieces of positional information of a moving image moving on the display screen 21 of the display unit 2 to be decided at high speed and almost at the same time. Obtained data comprise pieces of information on positions on the display unit 2 to be decided in a moving image moving direction and light emission brightness of the display unit at respective time points thereof. On the basis of the data, moving image tracking simulation of the eye is performed and integrating operation is performed with an integral multiple of a one-frame time in the tracking direction of the eye to find a moving image response curve. According to the present invention, deviations in timing at respective positions are eliminated to make an accurate measurement at a time.
