<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop power supply to an acceleration sensor when it is not put on the body. <P>SOLUTION: When a mounting sensor 4 detects mounting on the body, a microcomputer 7 turns on a power source part 81 for the acceleration sensor and supplies power to the acceleration sensor 10 and amplification part 11 of the body movement detection part 1. Thereafter, the microcomputer 7 calculates an activity amount on the basis of acceleration signals from the body movement detection part 1. On the other hand, when mounting on the body is not detected by the mounting sensor 4, the microcomputer 7 turns off the power source part 81 of the acceleration sensor and stops the power supply to the acceleration sensor 10 and the amplification part 11. Thereafter, the microcomputer 7 controls a reporting part 6 to perform reporting of reporting sound. Then, the microcomputer 7 is switched from a normal operation mode to a low power consumption mode and is turned to an interruption waiting state. When an interruption signal, indicating that it is mounted on the body, is inputted from the mounting sensor 4 to the microcomputer 7 in the interruption waiting state, the microcomputer 7 cancels a sleep mode and switches to the normal operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
