PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of shield characteristics against electromagnetic noises from the exterior in a connecting device in which a signal contact pattern is arranged in the circumferential direction. SOLUTION: A plug-in side connector 30 has a cylindrical insulator part 31, a plurality of contact patterns 45, 46 arranged in this inner peripheral face in the circumferential direction, and a cylindrical ground pattern 32 formed on the whole face of the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical insulator part. A receiving side connector 20 has an insulator block 21 having an annular space 22 into which the plug-in side connector is inserted, a plurality of signal contact pieces 25, 26 and ground contact pieces 27, 28 arranged in the insulator block in the circumferential direction, and the cylindrical ground member 29 of the center of the insulator block 21. The signal contact pattern and the signal contact pieces are connected, and the cylindrical ground pattern and the ground contact pieces are connected. The cylindrical ground pattern 32 surrounds the outer periphery of a part in which the signal contact patterns 45, 46 and the signal contact pieces 25, 26 are connected.
