PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition suppressed in excess mist generation, having sustainability of mist generation suppressing effect, injuring no lubricant oil viscosity properties and hardly causing viscosity change due to shearing. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition comprises a polymer (A) of a 6-20C 1-alkene and a base oil (B), wherein the polymer (A) satisfies following requirement (i) and the lubricant composition contains 0.0001-0.1 pt.wt. of the 1-alkene polymer (A) based on 100 pts.wt. of the lubricant composition total weight; (i) the intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in decalin at 135°C is within a range of 3.0-10.0 dl/g.
