PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic storage device improved in working efficiency in carry-in/out by shortening the load carrying-out time. SOLUTION: In this automatic storage device comprising a plurality of shelves, a transporting means and a control means, the transporting means is operated for rearrangement so that a load, of which delivery frequency is larger, is stored in a shelf, from which the load is delivered in shorter time. In rearrangement, the loads are divided into number-n groups in delivery frequency order, and the shelves are divided into number-n of storage blocks in order of the shorter time to be required to carry out and a waiting block outside the order, and the number of load of the load group in each order and the number of shelf in the storage block in the corresponding order are considered as the same number, and rearrangement is not performed within the same storage block, and the loads are moved between only different storage blocks.
