PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten waiting time required for GPS positioning. SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal 1, having a GPS-receiving section 3 capable of receiving a positioning signal from a GPS satellite G1, which is capable of identifying a location by means of GPS positioning includes a GPS satellite capturing section 5 for capturing a GPS satellite, based on a positioning signal received by the GPS-receiving section 3; a measuring section 6 for measuring the number of GPS satellites captured by the GPS satellite capturing section 5; a determining section 7 for determining, based on the number of captured GPS satellites measured by the measuring section 6, whether a condition for stoppage of GPS positioning is satisfied; and a GPS-positioning control section 8 for stopping GPS positioning, when the GPS-positioning stop determining section 7 determines that the condition for stoppage of GPS positioning is satisfied, and for continuing GPS positioning, when the determining section 7 determines that the condition for stoppage of GPS positioning is not satisfied.
