<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation system used for surgical operation, the system operability via a support arm being favorably maintained even when microscopic observation has been switched to endoscopic observation, and moreover smooth switching operation being possible without interrupting the surgical operation. <P>SOLUTION: The observation system used for surgical operation equipped with a support arm 2 movable in three-dimensional directions is provided with an endoscope objective unit 4 having a tubular insertion part and an objective optical system, a microscope objective unit 3 having an objective optical system provided with a focusing optical system and a variable power optical system, and an attaching/detaching part 1 provided on the support arm 2 to attach or detach the objective units 4 and 3 that are made mutually interchangeable. The objective optical systems fitted with the objective units 4, 3 are structured to make the beam exiting toward the attaching/detaching part 1 afocal. The attaching/detaching part 1 has an image formation and a pickup device in pairs. An objective unit and the attaching/detaching part 1 are optically connected together when this objective unit is in the state of being mounted on the attaching/detaching part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
