<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controller which, even if the number of pages printable by a certain client device is used up after the number of printable pages allocated to each client device has been set, permits printing using the remaining number of printable pages allocated to another client device. <P>SOLUTION: An account server that sends output data from a plurality of client devices to a printer is networked, and every time a certain client device 4a gives instructions on a printing process to the printer, the account server 3 determines whether or not a cumulative value of the numbers of pages already printed by the certain client device has reached an upper limit of printable pages allocated to the certain client device.
