<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a task management system integrally having functions of task progress management, result management, and approval. <P>SOLUTION: A task management computer 101 reads a standard procedure for performing a task from a host computer 103 and registers the standard procedure in accordance with the content of the task. A task executing computer 102 displays the working procedure for performing the task, sent from the task management computer 101, and registers results to the working procedure and the results and an approval request are formed into a workflow. A computer 104 for viewing the progress of the task displays the progress of the task in different colors according to the date of reception of an approval flag sent from the task executing computer 102; if a predetermined date comes, delay information is sent to the task management computer 101. The task management computer 101 checks the results, and forms a workflow if there is no flaw.
