PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which is in semisolid at normal temperature, exhibiting a high lubricating property in a thin film state applied with a minimum amount of an oil solution on a lubricating sliding part and a high dynamic friction coefficient advantageous in power transmission, and to provide a lubricating system using the lubricant composition. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition comprising 10-98.9 mass% of liquid base oil selected at least one from a hydrocarbon base oil with not more than 70 of%Cp, an ester of phosphorus acid and a silicone oil, 1-20 mass% of alkaline earth metal salt and 0.1-89 mass% of an amide compound, and is semisolid at normal temperature.
