PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable winning device for a game machine having a unique performance effect by a horizontal rotation and capable of improving the taste of a game in a case of having a rotating body rotating horizontally, and to provide a game machine using the same. SOLUTION: The variable winning device includes the rotating body 20 extending from the backside to the front side of a bed plate 10, wherein the rotating body 20 has a ball introduction hole 25 for introducing a game ball to a winning hole 11, and a performance display part for displaying prescribed visual information V to execute a notification to a player. The rotating body 20 rotatingly changes the position of the ball introduction hole 25 to change a winning condition (for example, an open state and a regulation state) of the game ball and rotatingly changes the performance display part positioned in the front side to notify the visual information V to the player.
