<p>The present invention relates to a polymerizable composition and to a met hod for coating metal surfaces, in particular steel, galvanized and alloy-ga lvanized steel, and also aluminum and alloys thereof, as protection against corrosion. The polymerizable composition preferably contains less than 10% b y weight of portions which are not incorporated in the cured coating. In a f urther aspect, the invention relates to the use of the claimed composition f or coating workpieces consisting of the above-mentioned metals, particularly metal surfaces in blanking lines (coil coating). The present invention ther efore also comprises the use of metal surfaces, coated according to the inve ntion, for the production of "white goods"(household appliances), automobile bodies, electronic component housings, and for the building trade and the t ransport sector.</p> |
