PLANAR COMMUTATOR, ARMATURE CORE, AND DIRECT CURRENT ELECTRIC MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar commutator capable of preventing generation of harmful spark by securing a pressure equalizing structure without sacrificing the length in the shaft direction and capable of achieving reduction in the number of brushes. SOLUTION: The planar commutator 40 is fixed to a rotary shaft 10 constituting an armature core A. The commutator 40 has a plurality of segment pieces 43 comprising: a riser portion 45 to which a winding wire located outside is connected; a lead wire connection 44 in which predetermined positions of the segment pieces 43 located inside are electrically short-circuited to each other; and a short-circuit wire 60 made of a lead wire having an insulating film in which the predetermined positions of the segment pieces 43 are short-circuited to each other. The connection 44 for electrically shot-circuiting the prescribed segment pieces 43 to each other is connected by the short-circuit wire 60 with tension, and furthermore, the connection 44 is connected by a lead wire body exposed from the insulating film of the short-circuit wire 60.
