PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance fixing force in a structure for fixing a fixing part of a dust cover embedded with a reinforcing ring to an installation member such as a socket. SOLUTION: In this dust cover fixing structure, the reinforcing ring 21 has an engaging projection 24 by projecting its inner peripheral part inward in the radial direction from an inner peripheral surface 13 of the dust cover 11, and the installation member 1 has an engaging groove 5 engaging with the engaging projection 24. The engaging projection 24 has a shape of arranging a corner part 27 between an inner peripheral surface 25 and a plane 26 inward in the radial direction more than the inner peripheral surface 13 of the dust cover 11 as a hitch to the engaging groove 5, by projecting a part of the plane 26 in the slipping-out direction from the inner peripheral surface 13 of the dust cover 11 together with the inner peripheral surface 25 of the reinforcing ring 21.
