<p>A carrier for electrophotographic developer ensuring high resolution and full colorization, while reducing scattering. Its production method, and an electrophotographic developer containing the carrier are also provided. A carrier core material for electrophotographic developer where the half-band width B of a peak having a maximum intensity satisfies a relation B=0.160 (degree) in XRD pattern is produced, and a carrier for electrophotographic developer and an electrophotographic developer are produced from the carrier core material for electrophotographic developer.</p>
