FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to turf-processing industry and can be used for distributed power generation and housing and communal services. Invention is intended for reduction in value and intensification of turf thermal processing that is reached by that in method of gas fuel production by turf processing using pyrolysis, catalyst is silica-alumina materials in amount 2%-30% (mass), while mixed turf and catalyst are granulated. Thus silica-alumina materials are clay marl, kaolin, cambrian and bentonitic clay, zeolites H-Beta-25 and H-MORD.
