<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus that reduces the risk of password leakage while implementing a smaller user load than a password input system. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: an image processing part 100 for displaying an external input image; a storage part 22 storing an authentication image that is a criterion of whether the input image should be displayed, and position information on a frame representing an area for determining whether the input image is the authentication image or not; and a control part 10 for recognizing the input image, determining whether or not the image in the frame by the position information on the input image matches the authentication image upon the input of an authentication request command, and if the images match, causing the image processing part to display the input image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
