PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip part of an ultrathin electronic endoscope with high electrical safety, capable of securely preventing the possibility of a leaking current on an imaging circuit side leaking onto the outer surface. SOLUTION: A metal tip body outer barrel 2 is exposed to the outer surface of the tip of an insertion part 1 in the tip part of the ultrafine electronic endoscope. A tubular insulating barrel 18, made of an electric insulating material closely enclosing the outer surface of a metal objective lens holder barrel 6 without clearance, is disposed in the whole area between the rear end position of a tip body inner barrel 14 made of an electric insulating material and the tip position of an electric insulating cover 10 located in the rear of the inner barrel in the tip of the ultrafine electronic endoscope.
