The device for measuring the consumption of various nutritional components within a food or drink product comprises a container holding the product. On the walls of the container there is a nutritional scale. The scale shows the relationship between the volume of the product and the nutritional value of specific components. The values displayed may include the number of calories, the glycaemic value, the proportional of proteins, lipids, sugars, vitamins, minerals, cholesterol and other significant components. The container may be made of a material which is washable and able to be sterilised, or from a material which is intended for single use. It may be adapted to the dietary requirements of an adult or a child.
