PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field measuring device capable of magnetizing, measuring and demagnetizing a microscopic area of a subject. SOLUTION: This local magnetization/magnetic field measuring device 1 has an XY axis table 3 for holding the subject (a specimen) 2 and adjusting a position in its horizontal direction, a local magnetization means 4 for magnetizing the microscopic area of a surface of the subject 2, a magnetic field measuring device (a magnetic sensor) 5 for measuring a magnetic field of the microscopic area, a local demagnetization means 4 for demagnetizing the microscopic area, and a control means PC 6 for successively executing magnetization, magnetic field measurement, and a demagnetization process by changing the position.
