<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of a one-way clutch, by nonslip of sprags by interference with a cage. <P>SOLUTION: This one-way clutch is composed of a bearing part 5 supporting an outer race 1 and an inner race 2, a plurality of sprags 3, the cage 4 holding the respective sprags 3, and an elastic member 6 energizing the respective sprags 3 in the engaging direction. A tapered surface 4d gradually inclined to one end side in the axial direction toward the outer diameter side, is arranged on one end in the axial direction of the cage 4, and a sphere 12 is stored between the tapered surface 4d and the inner race 2. Its sphere 12 joins the cage 4 and the inner race 2 by pressing the cage 4 to the other end side in the axial direction via the tapered surface 4d by the action of centrifugal force caused by rotation of the one-way clutch. In low rotation of a relatively large rotational variation, the cage 4 is not fixed to the inner race 2, and its cage 4 does not hinder tilting of the sprags 3. In high rotation, the cage 4 is fixed to the inner race 2, and the outer race 1 and the sprags 3 are restrained from abrasion in a relatively excellent lubrication state, and the durability can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
