<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless transmitter and a wireless transmission system in which signal transmission is secured regardless of a fault in the wireless transmission system constituted of a plurality of wireless transmitters. <P>SOLUTION: Inter-device cables 11, 12 and 13 for transmitting PDH (plesiochronous digital hierarchy) data signal rows among a plurality of wireless transmitters A, B and C are disposed in a mesh shape. Furthermore, the wireless transmitters comprise cross connect circuits A5, B5 and C5 for switching connecting states of the inter-device cables and cable monitoring circuits A7, B7 and C7 each for detecting the fault of signal transmission in the relevant inter-device cable. The cross connect circuit enables the connecting state of the inter-device cable to be switched on the basis of fault information outputted from the cable monitoring circuit. When the fault occurs, signal transmission can be performed via the other inter-device cable different from an inter-device cable where the fault occurs, and the transmission of the PDH data signal row is secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
