<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access management system for preventing entry into a controlled area even when an entrance to the controlled area is illegally unlocked and reliably detecting an intruder entering the controlled area by illegally obtaining authenticated communication terminal equipment or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the access management system including a positioning sensor 102 for detecting position of a portable telephone set 104 at least in a controlled area (a), an access management server 101 for acquiring positions of an IC tag 109 and the portable telephone set 104; the access management server 101 determines whether or not the portable telephone set 104 has a right to enter the controlled area (a) based on authentication request signal.
