PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a printer for preventing an accounting process carried out by means of a counter when a printing process for inserting a blank page on the back face is controlled in the printer for double-side printing. SOLUTION: The printer is provided with a command adding means adding a command for forcing ejection of paper so that a blank page as the final page is not counted in the printer when double-side printing is designated and the number of pages of recording paper for arranging data to be printed is an odd number.
