PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize seamless handover shortening of handover processing time and system handover by eliminating interference in an overlap area and by improving transmission efficiency. SOLUTION: A radio LAN network system is provided with a station for performing communication while moving between radio service areas including a plurality of access points, wherein the station performs communication with a radio access point where it stays while moving between the radio service areas. A method of handover between the service areas is also provided. A control signal is always periodically transmitted from the station, so that both a moving destination access point and a moving source access point can receive the control signal while preventing interference to each other. Alternatively, the access points each transmit control signals having different frequencies, and the station simultaneously receives the control signals having different frequencies from the access points.
