<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic food intake measuring system and automatic food intake measuring method which can simply measure food intake for every foodstuff and can more accurately measure the food intake regardless of the shapes of table wares and arrangement of foodstuff. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic food intake measuring system comprises: a photographic device for taking a picture of meals; a table ware extracting means for extracting the table ware by following a table ware database which records hues corresponding to the table wares in advance; a food extracting means for measuring quantity of every foodstuff by following a foodstuff database by detecting the hue of food for every table ware and measuring the number of pixels for every hue; and a food intake measuring means for measuring the food intake by comparing quantity of every foodstuff extracted from the image of the meal before eating by the food extracting means and quantity of every foodstuff extracted by the food extracting means from the image of the meal after eating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
