<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical mouse which has a pulse wave measurement function mounted thereon to enable a user to easily recognize his or her own biological information in everyday life. <P>SOLUTION: The optical mouse includes a light emitting part 1 and an image sensor (light receiving part) 2 corresponding to the light emitting part 1, and the optical mouse is provided with a detection processing means which collectively reads signal electric charges in all or a prescribed part of light receiving elements composing the light receiving part 2 to detect a pulse wave on the basis of the collectively read signal electric charges when detecting reflected light from a fingertip 5 by the light receiving part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
