PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress attitude positional deviation of a steering wheel by surely preventing a rotation pulse jump of an electric motor according to starting of a vehicle engine, regarding control system and steering wheel attitude control device of the vehicle. SOLUTION: This control system is provided with the electric motor to be driven to change the attitude of the steering wheel from a saving attitude to a driving attitude when a driver gets on the vehicle. When a starting condition of the vehicle engine is established in process in which the attitude of the steering wheel is changed from the saving attitude to the driving attitude by driving the electric motor, the driving of the electric motor is stopped by short-circuiting a space between terminals of the electric motor. Whether or not the driving stopping of the electric motor is completed is discriminated.
