SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT MANAGEMENT BASED ON TEMPORARY USAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server for software license agreement management based on temporary usage.

SOLUTION: An embodiment of a computer automated system manages license agreements in a server 102 partitioned into multiple partitions. The partitions include physical partitions 104P and/or virtual partitions 104V operative in separate operating environments for executing an independent operating system 106 and applications 108 with resources 110 dynamically allocated among the partitions. A licensed software element 112 is executed on the dynamically allocated resources and a charge is assessed based on execution of the licensed software element on the dynamically allocated resources.
